Coping with death of a close loved one is something we all have to expereince at some point in our lives. While extraordinarily painful in some cases, society in general does not really allow for the bereaved to grieve in their own time. This then puts pressure on the bereaved to "perform", which ultimately leads to further problems down the track.
I have written several articles on coping with death. You can read them at http://youronlinecounselor.com/CopingWithDeath.htm and feel free at add your own experiences with others reactions to death on the forum.
